  1. Delhi

    3 nights · hotel

As for New Delhi, it’s definitely a pretty chaotic city, and it can get extremely hot, so I would recommend wearing something comfortable, especially a good pair of sneakers. Nothing too fancy, as some areas can be quite dirty and dusty. That being said, I definitely think it’s worth visiting because you really get to immerse yourself in the authentic Indian culture. I would recommend spending a few days in New Delhi so you have enough time to explore Old Delhi as well, which is absolutely fascinating and such a unique experience. When it comes to accommodation, I would also recommend being careful when booking your hotel. Try to choose somewhere in a central, well-connected area and always check the reviews carefully to avoid unpleasant surprises or potential scams.

  2. Agra

    2 nights · hotel

Grand Mercure Agra - An Accor Brand. This hotel was of an excellent standard all round. Just slightly out of town but the staff, the food and the facilities made up for it. The breakfast was the best we've had in India. The premium room with a view of the Taj Mahal was special. Also recommend the couples massage in the Spa - excellent. If you’re planning to visit the Taj Mahal, I would definitely recommend waking up really early. We went at around 4:30 in the morning, and it was honestly the perfect choice. There were fewer people, so it wasn’t too crowded, and watching the sunrise over the Taj Mahal was absolutely magical. ✨

  3. Jaipur

    3 nights · hotel

As for Jaipur, it’s absolutely beautiful and a city I would recommend everyone to visit. It’s incredibly charming and fascinating, and it’s known as the Pink City. The culture, the palaces, the architecture and the art are all stunning. We actually spent three days and two nights there, but honestly, I would recommend staying for three or four nights if you can. We didn’t have enough time to see everything we wanted to, and there’s so much to explore. It’s definitely a city worth taking your time to enjoy! 🩷 Pearl Palace Heritage Boutique Hotel, Jaipur. We really enjoyed our stay at Pearl Palace Heritage. The hotel is absolutely beautiful - every room feels like a little work of art, full of character and incredible details. It was definitely one of the most unique places we stayed during our trip through India. The staff were wonderful: genuinely kind, helpful and attentive. We had to leave very early in the morning, around 5:30AM, and they even prepared an early breakfast.

  4. Goa

    2 nights · hotel

As for Goa, we really enjoyed it too! I would say we probably didn’t visit at the best time of year, as we went in June, which is the monsoon season. The sea was quite rough, so we couldn’t really swim in the ocean, and it was very hot and humid, with quite a bit of rain. That being said, it was still a lovely experience. It was very relaxing, surrounded by nature, and we really enjoyed walking around the area. We stayed in a fairly touristy part of Goa, but overall, compared to the rest of our trip around India, this was definitely the most relaxing part of the holiday. We stayed at a resort, so we could just unwind, enjoy the swimming pool and take some time for ourselves. 🌴

  5. Bangalore

    4 nights · hotel

Bangalore is a really beautiful city, and it felt quite different from northern India. I found it much cleaner and more organised, with a completely different atmosphere. It was also an incredible experience because we attended an Indian wedding there, which lasted three days. We got to experience the magic of an Indian wedding firsthand, and we had the chance to interact with local people while arranging our outfits, getting alterations done and preparing for the celebrations. Overall, India was such an interesting and eye-opening journey. But if there’s one thing that has stayed with me the most, it’s definitely the people. Their kindness, their simplicity and the warmth of their smiles really touched my heart. ❤️
