  4. Phuket

Phuket has an international airport so getting there is quite easy. Stay around Patong if you want nightlife and easy access to activities, or Kata/Karon for a quieter experience. Rent a scooter only if you’re comfortable riding, otherwise use Grab or Bolt. Take a boat trip to the nearby islands, and book tours through reputable operators. Be cautious with taxi prices. I personally did not like Phuket. There are better places in Thailand to visit in my opinion. But also know a lot of people who go to Thailand just to visit phuket. Its packed with tourists. I like less crowded places where i can lay back and relax.
