First time in Thailand — took it to escape the cold, celebrate my birthday, and just reset after months of no holidays. The people are so welcoming and the energy is infectious. Fell in love with the place.

  1. Bangkok

    5 nights · hotel

Grab is probably the easiest way to get around Bangkok. Even if you have a license, I wouldn't recommend renting a moped. The traffic is hectic and genuinely dangerous.

If you can I would recommend getting a moped. It makes it easier to move around the island and visit places that are not close by.

  3. Koh Tao

    3 nights · hostel

Small island, but it's backpacker heaven. Lots of tourists come through, which keeps prices up, but it's worth the visit. You can cross from one side to the other in about 30 minutes.
